Under 7 Years of Age

Primarily Indoor Dog Recommendations

  • Complete Wellness Exam – A complete and thorough physical examination will be performed
  • Vaccines – many serious pet diseases can be prevented by vaccination. Even if always kept indoors, your pet can be exposed to viruses or bacteria in the environment or even on clothing.
  • DHPP – Corona (For dogs 2 and younger) – Bordetella – Rabies – Canine Influenza
  • Junior Wellness Blood Test – This test will assess the basic values for liver, kidney, blood sugar, protein levels, heartworm test, complete blood count, and clotting profile.1) Establish healthy baseline values. 2) Identify unseen disease processes at an early stage. 3) A blood profile may help us avoid using medications that may be unsafe for a pet’s medical condition or health status.
  • Heartworm Prevention – The monthly use of a product such as Heartgard should be used year-round. Heartgard prevents heartworms, a deadly parasite that is contracted from mosquitos, and also protects against disease from roundworms, hookworms, and tapeworms.
  • Stool Sample Test – Tests for some parasites, such as roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, and the single-celled parasites such as giardia and coccidia, can easily be passed from animal to animal and may even infect people.
